Lab testing is an important step for us an importer. All the gorgeous botanicals we picked up last week have gone into quarantine (a special corner of our facility) until they have been okayed for use.
Some of the things we look at are:
🌸 Heavy Metals
🌸 Yeast & Molds
🌸 Microbial Load
🌸 Pesticide Residue
Each ingredient requires its own specifications and tests to ensure there’s nothing weird going on. I’m the past we have had to send shipments back because they weren’t safe to use.
