What makes it so good?

We partner with local farmers and international growers through a sourcing framework designed to empower women and reduce gender-based violence. By working with women-led organizations and small-scale producers, we build supply chains that prioritize equity, resilience, and impact.

And the taste? It’s next level. Our blends feature quality ingredients and vibrant, farm-direct botanicals — bold, clean flavour that rises far above the everyday cup.

Every blend is a conversation: between cultures, generations, and the hands that brought it to life.

When you choose Sarjesa, you’re choosing tea with purpose—crafted with care, rooted in justice.

How We Create Impact

At Sarjesa, we started with a simple idea: donate what we could. But as we grew, we realized donations alone wouldn’t create the systemic change we envisioned. If we want a world where women are treated equally, we have to think bigger—and act more intentionally.

We don’t have all the answers, and we’re still humbly learning our way forward. But we are committed to building a business that reflects our values: equity, transparency, and accountability—from farm to cup.

Follow Our Journey
  • Sourcing with Purpose

Women make up a significant portion of the global agricultural workforce—yet they are often underpaid, overworked, and overlooked. We developed an in-house sourcing framework to help us vet and choose partners based on their impact on women’s livelihoods, ensuring every cup supports meaningful change at the source.

  • Blends That Do More

Our teas are crafted to spark delight, support wellness, and show up in the daily lives of women—without costing a fortune. Impact shouldn’t come at a premium, and care should never be compromised.

  • Shifting Perception

Systems don’t shift without culture. That’s why we use our packaging to challenge harmful narratives and celebrate women’s strength—through bold visuals, dancers, and intentional language that sparks reflection and dialogue.

  • Learning Through Action

We’re always experimenting and listening. Whether it’s local women growing peppermint as a secondary income source or co-developing global supplier relationships, we see each initiative as a chance to learn together and refine our impact.

  • Sarjesa was pitched at the 2019 Telus Pitch competition and made it as a top 100 finalist.
