Social Impact in Revision

Since I first started my tea company, the central 'why' was always to support women. Initially, I thought it would be enough to raise awareness of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, as well as donate part of the proceeds from our tea sales.

However, I soon realized that violence towards 'othered' women is a much larger issue that transcends national borders and racial barriers. It became clear that, at scale, it was not enough to only raise awareness and donate a portion of our profits, especially since profit margins can sometimes be limited.

So, we began to explore different ways we could have a greater social impact through our supply chain, from sourcing to growing to processing. We sought out partnerships with women-led organizations and suppliers to help uplift and support women throughout the entire supply chain.

Our model is not perfect, but we take small steps to improve it every day. We believe that every action counts and every small improvement can make a difference in supporting women's equity.

We have some important updates coming soon, and we're excited to share more about our journey and the impact we're making. Thank you for your continued support in our mission to create a more equitable world for all women.
